Woooo! I have some wins to share from this past (last) week: I booked THREE VO jobs, and not only did I book my first video games gig, the casting director said I didn’t need to do a callback!
I was so surprised and relieved that my skills weren’t too rusty after a stressful holiday season. Thanks to Brian and Chuck’s instruction in the Got Game? class, I knew to use specific character intention, mic placement, and side-splitting to help me stay focused but also have fun in the booth again.
When(!) the self-doubt creeps in again, I’ll remember this week not as an amazing dream but as an affirmation to keep going.
