“I’m not saying this happened because I just had a lesson with Sam – but I’m not saying it isn’t because of the private, either! On Thursday I got a “requested read” follow-up for an audition I did a couple weeks ago. It wasn’t for the full ads but for a bunch of dry humor tags, which is kinda in my wheelhouse. So I recorded those within a couple of hours, and late Friday afternoon received notice they wanted to record Monday. Turnarounds can be fast! The session lasted less than half an hour, using this technique called “three in a row” (hmm, wonder where I learned that) and they had me do some extra tags because why not? A fun experience for sure.
