“Oh, so what, are you Minnie Mouse?” Yes, KRISTIN PAIVA has heard it around 987,463 times – not that this sort of brusqueness surprises her much when she mentions her 18-plus-year history with Disney, but it’s given her a bit of a complex about her ears. Nevertheless, Kristin takes the cliché with the good, because even after being raised on Disney and always wanting to work for them, she would never in a million years have dreamed she’d be the self-styled Disney Junior Queen, managing myriad Disney Junior casting projects including the Sensational 6! Kristin managed to land that Disney job one mere day after she moved from Northern to Southern California, and she hasn’t looked back since, working with such greats as Tress MacNeille, Frank Welker and Dan Povenmire, creator of Phineas and Ferb. So it’s no surprise Kristin is parlaying these storied accomplishments into the founding of Paiva Productions, where she channels her hard-won expertise into the realms of casting, dialogue directing, and voice-over coaching. And because of her fervent commitment to and steadfast support for emerging talent, we couldn’t be happier to have her on board!
