Take a 5th-grade JANET VARNEY – voracious reader, Weird Al fan and practitioner of silly public voices, parody song-writer and puppeteer, spinner of stories right off the top of her head – and all this at the age of ten? Well look at the grownup performer: voice-over as Korra in The Legend of Korra, Mera in Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman in Injustice… on-camera work in Stan Against Evil, You’re The Worst, and Apple TV’s upcoming Platonic with Seth Rogan… playing with pals like Rachel Dratch, John Michael Higgins, Michael Hitchcock and Oscar Nunez in Improv supergroup Theme Park… and creating Neil’s Puppet Dreams, starring Neil Patrick Harris and The Henson Company puppets! And let’s not forget – Janet is also Co-Founder and Creative Director of SF Sketchfest: The San Francisco Comedy Festival, 20 years strong now as one of the largest comedy festivals in Northern America. We think 10-year-old Janet would approve, and we’re delighted to have grown-up Janet aboard as a Guest Director at Voicetrax!
