Film and television credits include ET The Extraterrestrial, Law & Order, NCIS, Blue Bloods, Outrageous Fortune, Erin Brockovich, Patch Adams, Jagged Edge, A Walk To Remember, Cross Creek, Brothers & Sisters and Commander In Chief. You’ve heard him narrating 120+ features, including The Color Of War, numerous episodes for the National Geographic Explorer series, The Dust Bowl (he both hosted and narrated the PBS series, directed by Ken Burns), The History of Sex, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea (directed by Ken Burns),The Top 100: NFL’s Greatest Players, and his Emmy® Award turns on both Ken Burns’ The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, and Meiji Revolution, part of the PBS American Experience 10-part series called The Pacific Century, not to mention his most recent narration of the local documentary series Bay Area Revelations. As an author he’s penned Sleeping Where I Fall: A Chronicle and The Rainman’s Third Cure: An Irregular Education.
