WHAT STUDENTS HAD TO SAY ABOUT INVITATIONAL

WOMEN ONLY...

Because women in the voice-over industry continue to face a unique set of challenges and circumstances, we've recently reintroduced Invitational Women Only with a fresh new high-powered mix of instructors including such luminaries as Actor CANDI MILO and Casting Director MARY LYNN WISSNER - and who better to comment than the ladies who took the class?

Wow...this weekend was incredible! At the end of a class like this I usually want to get home but I found it hard to tear myself away from the joy of sharing with these terrific ladies. Each endeavor, whether a success or failure, was met with love and support. Each teacher gave of herself in an honest but nurturing way. I love most of my classes and classmates (yes the boys too) but there was a unique energy in this company of sisters. I have seldom felt the exhilaration & safety that this group of ladies embodied. I wouldn't have missed it for the world!  Roni Gallimore

What a great experience - you can't beat the opportunity to learn from three of the most revered female professionals in our field and the added benefit of learning from your uber-talented, female peers at the same time.  The combination of these amazing teachers, their approach to teaching, and the expertise they brought to the table was wide ranging, and it was quite clear that they are very invested in our career success.  Simone Slifman

Really fabulous class, totally agree!  The 3 instructors were top notch and the group of women taking the class are some of the most amazing women I have had the pleasure to know :)  To sum up how awesome the instructors were I would say they were all very sincere, honest and giving with their knowledge, opinions and encouragement.  As well as the fact that they are all incredible directors and brought out some damn good performances in all of us. 'Women Only' was an inspired and inspiring class...Candy, Mary Lynn and the LA Agent were all great instructors, unique and  highly professional with more than a handful of potent gems of wisdom to throw into the mix. There was never a dull moment and it was a strident vocal workout. It was a also a great group of women including Christian who was gracefully engineering in a lilac shirt to fit the mood. What an amazing class.  The trio of teachers really complemented each other.  Loved getting perspective from an actor, a casting director and an agent, a very well rounded curriculum.  The group of women were in the class were extraordinary to say the least.  I felt honored to be among them and tried to keep up.  Very nurturing environment.  Vicki Baum
