Okay, remember when last week we told you we had some really cool booking news to report and we did, but then, even more booking news came in during the week, which would have made for a way too long blog post, so we promised to report the rest of it this week? Remember that?

Well, we have the rest of the booking news and better news…

Since we added the last post on Friday, we’ve gotten more booking news---three four in just the last 24 hours---so it looks like we’ll probably have even more booking news posts coming your way this week and next.  Keep it going, guys because these are problems we don’t mind having…

First up, Lea Gulino, whose voiceover career has taken off like a house on fire, recently booked one of those fantabulous steady gigs that we all aspire to get. If you happen to call a buddy of yours who works at Cisco Systems and the voice that answers sounds kinda like Lea, guess what? Yep, Ms. Gulino is now the “official” voice of Cisco HQ. She’s been hired to voice all their internal IVR and down the road, may also be doing some of their website narration. Lea also shared that while she was in NYC last month to celebrate her birthday, she got a chance to take the Liberty Island Family Audiotour that she narrates in the guise of “Frances the Falcon.” “It was one helluva birthday present!” Lea says, “I don't think I've ever been more proud of anything in my life...”

Another ‘Traxer who is keeping us busy reporting on all her gigs is our own CVE (Chief Voicetrax Engineer), Jessica Blue. A couple of weeks ago she recorded an online sales demo for the Palm Pixi. Then last week, she was over the moon because she booked two radio ads on successive days…one for St. Helena Hospital and the second—booked through Voice Yenta—for John Muir Health. (Jess has got that health care thing down!) Btw, know who was also check-availed for the John Muir Health spot? Lea G. And thank you both for coming through and making us look good!

We’re also happy to report that Villija Marshall booked her first gig since she started auditioning recently for a large, well-known local agency—a radio ad for Andronico’s Markets. We happened to hear her as we were driving in our car the other day and can tell you that she does a great job, but honestly…we weren’t surprised by that…Congratulations, Villija!
