Spring Break Binge: Women Of Voicetrax Booking Wildly!
First off, we’re very excited to report that Angela Noble and Annalisa Bastiani, both booked and recorded their first jobs through their agency last week! What’s even cooler is that both were cast in projects with fellow ‘Traxers. Angie recorded an industrial for Del Monte, for which Pam DeWeerd was also cast. Annalisa’s gig, a radio spot for the Reliance Method, a rehab program, also featured four other Voicetrax-trained actors, namely Owen Baker-Flynn, Max Gustafson, Lisa LIndsley and Scott DeGrave. A big congratulations to our first-timers ;-) , and everyone else, too!
Jessica Blue has been quite busy booking and recording gigs from home as of late. She recently recorded a radio spot for LookforaCollege.com and a series of definitely not Proctor and Gamble ads for The Naked Café restaurants in her home studio (with the clients directing her over the phone). Jessica also recorded and produced the voiceover for the website of Salon Cartier in the East Bay, which is better known to her Voicetrax friends as the place where Jessica “goes to get her blue on.”
Another longtime Traxarian, Pam DeWeerd, just booked back-to-back-to-back jobs. The first one was a Union gig for IndianaUnclaimed.com that Pam recorded radio and Internet ads for. The best part was that she didn’t even have to audition for these spots; the producers heard her demo, called her agent and voilá, instant booking! Her next job was for couple of characters in the "Governor of Poker," game and then she also worked on the same Del Monte industrial project as Angie Noble.
Nice work everyone…keep ‘em coming, we’ll keep reporting…
